Official wording: STATEMENT OF USE - FILED
You have filed a Statement of Use showing commercial use of the mark. It has been received and is queued for examination. Filing it is not the same as having it accepted.
What is being checked
An examiner will review whether your specimen actually shows the mark used in commerce on the goods or services you claimed, whether the dates of use are consistent, and whether the mark as used matches the mark as drawn. Any of those can produce an office action rather than a registration.
Specimens are where these fail
The common refusals are a mockup rather than a real product, a logo on a website with no way to buy anything, a mark used only as a business name rather than as a brand on the goods, or a specimen that shows the mark in a materially different form from the drawing. If your specimen was borderline, expect a query.
Your extension window may still matter
If an office action comes back and your Statement of Use is found deficient, the thirty-six-month ceiling from the Notice of Allowance still governs how long you have overall. Knowing how much of that period you have already used tells you whether a fix is comfortable or urgent.
What acceptance looks like
If the Statement of Use is accepted, the application proceeds to registration and the status moves to a registration code. That is the point at which the mark is registered and the ® symbol becomes appropriate - not before.
